Bad News Botanists started in Seattle with goal of making original compositions with a heavy emphasis on Jazz, at the same time shake some booties while we are at it. Our performance can be summed up in two words: intense and intimate. We are a band with chemistry that has no boundaries. We are open to learn any and all types of music, but always developing a unique sound. Our influences can range from modern players like Robert Glasper, Kamasi Washington, to past giants like Louis Prima and Sonny Rollins.
